US to impose AD duty on aluminum sheet products from 18 countries

The US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross announced the affirmative preliminary determinations last Friday (October 9), saying that the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) decided to impose anti-dumping (AD) duties on US$1.96 billion worth of common alloy aluminum sheet products imported from 18 counties, including Bahrain, Brazil, Croatia, Egypt, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Oman, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, and Turkey, since the subject products from these countries were sold at dumping prices in the US market.
