Heavy plates from the Salzgitter-Group for a wind farm off the coast of Brittany

Subsidiaries are delivering 50.000 t of thermomechanically rolled steel plates for the offshore wind project “Saint-Brieuc” off the French coast.
Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH and Salzgitter Mannesmann Grobblech GmbH are delivering 50.000 t of thermomechanically rolled plates for the Spanish group Navantia S.A. From these 62 jackets (foundation structures) and 186 piles (for mounting the jackets on the seabed) will be built for the offshore wind farm “Saint-Brieuc” off the Brittany coast.
